Kang Haoxian
1989, Shandong, China
Kang Haoxian’s works are inspired by the atmosphere of Los Angeles, where the artist lived for a while. Tanned characters from Beverly Hills pass through his paintings, having fun at multiple parties. To capture these environments in the most spontaneous way possible, Haoxian uses the airbrush as an artistic medium.
Kang Haoxian studied at the Central Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing. His works have been shown at The Galaxy Museum of Contemporary Art, Chongquing, China, 2021; Tank Shanghai, China, 2021 or Times Art Museum, Beijing, China, 2020. His exhbition at VETA by Fer Francés is his first show in Spain.
