Erick Medel : (Dirty Realism: Otra Noche en L.A.)

VETA by Fer Francés presents the solo exhibition of Erick Medel as part of Dirty Realism: Otra Noche en L.A. 

Erick Medel (b.1992, Puebla, Mexico) is an artist who works with embroidery, an uncommon technique nowadays, with which he represents the everyday life of Los Angeles from the point of view of Mexican-Americans. The work oscillates in its form between sculpture, painting and craftsmanship, and his approach is intuitive and spontaneous: his hands guide the fabric while the machine pierces and threads the images.
