ATLAS RCR : Un itinerario por once obras
Past exhibition
Overview
'ALTAS RCR. An itinerary through eleven works' is the first show by RCR Arquitectes at VETA by Fer Francés. The exhibition is a journey through the most outstanding projects of this prestigious studio, winner of the Pritzker Prize in 2017. Among them, we can highlight the renovation project of VETA space, which will get started from 2023. The originality of the proposal lies in the fact that these projects are not presented using computer resources, as usual, but through a series of works on paper. However, contrary to what might be expected, the works are not mere auxiliary representations of architecture, but rather reflect the creativity associated with the gestation of each one. In this way, each work can be perceived as independent. If we analyze them carefully we will perceive that they are characterized by their spontaneity, their experimental nature and their immediacy. Through each of them, we see how the group analyzes the landscape where the architecture should be located, the relationship between the different elements that make it up or the characteristics of each of the spaces.
