Campo abierto is Cristina Lama’s second exhibition at VETA by Fer Francés. Campo abierto (Open Field) alludes to the natural, the instinctive, and a profound creative freedom. The exhibition brings together a selection of works that precisely reflect the artist’s universe and painterly process. All of the paintings emerge from the visceral rather than the conceptual. There is no preconceived message or purpose; the content of each work unfolds through the very act of painting itself, in a direct dialogue between mind and hand.
