OPS, El Roto, Andrés Rábago : Tres en uno

It may not be easy to accommodate three artists as different as OPS, El Roto and Rábago in a common space.

 

However, as soon as his work is analysed, the viewer will find within them a link, a common air.

 

Something that keeps them situated in concentric orbits.

 

At a certain distance from each other, but united by a common gravitational force, of a recognizable order of its own.

 

The three authors intend to evoke, each in their own way, the complexity of an elusive reality, in permanent mutation and in constant flux.

 

Any attempt to fix the image that encompasses it definitively will be exhausting and doomed to failure.

 

The three heteronyms - OPS, El Roto and Rábago - have pursued the same thing, sometimes successively, sometimes simultaneously.

 

A truly difficult task but required of any artist: to record the territory that he has travelled with his work.

 

For the knowledge of those readers or visitors who happen to walk nearby or through similar places.

 

Hoping to promote a joyous meeting.
